Quake Live Problem

So, I was looking into Quake Live as I fancied a quick shooter to pass 10-15 mins whenever...

I signed up... and every time I try to enter a game it asks me to sign up again!!!

I'm already signed in, I can even change the options, avatar, controls etc. But still, whenever I try to enter a game (online OR practice) it asks me to sign up again.

Anyone else had this?

I'm running windows 7 and the latest Intercrap Explorer (the regular, not 64bit version)

Wow, that's quite a group decision there! I'll try out Firefox again if only just for Quake and see how it goes... Maybe with different themes as suggested (didn't know that was possible).

I've been looking into google chrome - Love the minimalist look and speed but it seems a bit commercial to me tbh. Not a fan of tabs or the focus on browsing history (I keep mine clear, tis unnecessary).

Yeah, I said 'Intercrap Explorer' just cause of the odd little problem like this - venting some frustration is all ;-)

Nope, turned them all to minimum/off and still nothing. Ugh. Tbh this isn't worth the hastle.
