Anyone else on here play Quake Live?

I used to play RA3 casually back when it was popular and really enjoyed it but Quake Live never tickled my fancy for some reason, I've gave it a bash and my god - I forgot how addictive it is. The learning curve is very steep but when you get those mid air rocket frags it's oh so good.

My nickname is Verta if anyone wants to add me for a game, I'm on most nights at the moment :)
 
I play most nights... tho I'm not a big fan of it atm :S theres some bugs in the "netcode" which makes projectiles inconsistant and laggy - feels like 100ms ping when I'm sub 30.
 
i tryed quake wars,it was ok ,untill call of duty was brought 2 my atention ,COD blows everything outa the water and MW2 is gonna be killer
 
I wasn't a huge fan of Q3 back in the day but I had a quick go at this a few months ago for curiosity's sake. It was fun for a bit but just made me want to start playing Quake 2 again.

Now if they released a Q2 Live I would be all over it...

Pah! >100ms is a luxury savoured only at the weekend thanks to Sky Connect :(

Loving the game though but does make me VERY ANGRY.

back in the days when I had 220ms ping and lpb's where rare i still kicked there bums to the screams of CHEATER !

I 2 played ra3 back in the day still missing my Railgun in todays shooter but QuakeLive I didn't think it felt right i'm a bit of a twich shooter so i like my ping to be good if possable
 
Never seemed as fun as the original quake - I think I lost my passion for online gaming at about that time. Zero-g rocketfests were never quite the same in later games.
