Well I thought "being as its free" (via steam) I'll download it, missing the Q3 days..

and I try and load the game and it says quake live is down, is it down temporary or is this no longer in operation?

and why is this one free but Quake 3 is £14? they look the same to me?

its good fun, just like the good old Q3 days...

the only thing I find odd is that everyone is the same colour, green !

I keep playing the Team games (TDM/Freeze Tag and Domination) via the PLAY NOW button..

I tried Clan Arena a couple of times and oh boy do I get abused at
because I'm new I get stupid remarks like "why don't you play" I've been kicked too

I cant learn this game when im not there...

I sometimes do pretty well on the team games, been top a couple of times which I'm happy about

Can somebody tell me,

on the scores screen (in TDM for example)
the coloured arrows by each name , how does this work?
I am assuming it is some sort of skill level ?

I googled the answer but I cant find it

any game to get going on QL now is near impossible

I preferred it before it was on steam permanently (even though I was running it on steam)
as I like the way of finding a game, as I like a lot of the team based games, now with the match browser, I cant find any anymore

not sure what that is, but Quake Live is free iirc, it was when I installed it before It merged permanently on steam
