Quake wars not very pretty

Ive got all settings to max even AA to 32x, but it still looks a little jaggie, but the main problem is it looks a little wishy washy if you know what i mean. Looks a bit faint sort of thing, nothing like the pics ive seen.

My spec:
e6600
4gb ram
8800gtxoc2
vista 64
 
I never thought the game looked good on any PC. Could be your computer, could be the game. I just dont like the graphics anyway.
 
I always felt it looked like there was dirt or dust on my screen. Or even as if the screen was bathed in strong sunlight making the image seem slightly fainter. Think it is some clever effect but it just looked bab
 
Not great looking, but a brilliant and very overlooked game.

Only thing that comes close to BF2, it is a lot of fun!
 
Aye, I bought it recently as I found it for cheap and was bored. The graphics are very plain even though, like you, I have everything on max. Game-play wise, it's another BF2 situation for me, where I'll despise it when the team is crap and love it when they're at least competent. Have to say though, it hasn't pulled me in straight away like BF2 did.
 
I just needed a game where I could do some snipeing.

I would have prefered this game if the Strogg where actually the Strogg from previous Quake games and so you could actually be the tank rather than sit in it!
