For the last few years i have been buying THESE Akasa Super thin cables they look great in the case but i'm begining to wonder on their quality I have had nothing but issues with my system so i'm going to bin what i have and look for normal cables.

So what do folk suggest as a quality cable, i need about 12-13 of them so it on't be cheap i know but i need to buy a decent make, most will be about 50cm, but some will be shorter, any suggestions are welcome.

Trust me guys i have done all the changing over the last 3 months and changing from ultra-thin to just run of the mill sata cables solves all my issues, no matter if i'm running from an SSD or a HDD or even the DVD burner there are problems, to give you an example booting from DVD using Acronis True Images (ATI) it boots ok into ATI, however when you try to copy from one drive to another it fails, yes the DVD is fine, i then run physical disc check and all is fine with all SSD's move different ports on computer and still then same when using the same cable, but when switched it's fine, moved to other PC's and it makes their system either fail to boot or takes 4-5 minutes to boot there drives are visible for a few mins then disappear, bought new HDD and still have issues, even bought a SATA host adapter and ran with these cable and getting same problems.
It's not every single cable to start with i'm guessing hey last about 18-24 months before drives start playing up, I bought a complete new set about 18 months ago and already on the road to replacing them as i bought a few from here the other day along with another WD Black, have ran WD software and drives come back fine so does Samsung SSD's, along with the Micron SSD, however when i change the SATA cables things get better, I am able to write to any disk when using ATI, no boot issues, no 4 min boot up times, no disappearing drives all that BS is gone, the only problem i have is the SATA (thick) cable i have here right now are SATA 2 so need to upgrade to sata 3 and see if i get any problems then.

if you think i have missed something then let me know but i think i have done everything bar put a brick in it.
