Hi.

My Enermax Infinity 720w wasn't so infinite, and refused to boot with constant beeping. Giving up on that I wish to get a replacement highly efficient, and fully modular PSU, which is quiet to run the following system. I dont do gaming, but do intense video, and graphic work. I built this system some time ago to be fast, yet almost quiet. The leads cant be short as I have a tall tower Mozart TX case. I dont want to go crazy on the price but the £100 mark would suit me, or under.

i7 2600K @ 4.6ghz
GTX260 gfx card
16gb high end ram oc.
2x mechanical HDs
3x SSD
D5 water pump
5x 120mm fans
2x fan controlers.
DVD drive.
USB 3 card
Saffire 6 USB Sound.

Thanks Dan.

I would suggest the Superflower Leadex 650W.

Agreed. I've just bought one of these to replace an old 600W ocz stealthxtreme and I can't hear it at all on eco mode at full mode. You might need to buy extensions for the cpu power and mb power leads though if you have a full tower case.

Corsair RM isn't that good. I would suggest the Superflower Leadex 650W.

I have the Superflower Leadex 750w and I wouldn't look elsewhere to be honest. Has an eco button so silent if you want it and at £89.99 its a bargain.

Although i can agree that the SF leadex PSU's are truely excellent, some of the modular cables are shorter than is standard(cpu 8-pin and 24pin especially). And would be an absolute nightmare in a full tower, especially if you have a loop in there aswell.

Unless you have say Bitfenix alchemy braided extensions(or bought some?) the leadex PSU's would not be a practical choice IMO
