Quantum Dot?

I was interested in a new monitor, but wondered is Quantum Dot really worth it?

I supposedly have it on my Samsung CF791 but it looks like every other VA panel I’ve used. Maybe it’s a poor implementation.

Prefer a standard IPS panel. I don’t know if you get quantum dot IPS displays as the quantum dot aspect is just the backlight, so should be possible.

That's pretty generic question requiring definition. Depends monitors and usage.
eg if you plan to use Freesync/Gsync keep away from QLED monitors like the LC27HG70. If you do not plan to use *sync, is an amazing monitor with amazing colours and visuals even for gaming.
