Quastion about Quake4

I want to start to play quake 4 on multiplayer as i played quake 3 really good might see how good i am in quake 4.

i have quake 4 disc , but do i need some add ons to play multiplayer? like skins or something?

ahh, quake 3, nothing has ever matched that for me as an online fps.

havn't played quake 4 for a little bit, but really enjoyed it when I did. I'm sure the following links arn't to a competitor (think they just do server rental and host game files), if they are them my apologies and I anticipate ocuk wrath:

I played on the jolt public server, was the only place I could find plenty of folks playing:

I think their public servers use the Quakemas 2005 map pack (follow the following link, then select the 'maps official' link to find it) as well, but this may well be incorporated into the latest point release/patch now:
