Posted this over at the talk photography forums but thought I would share it here to...

So I have had my 600d for about a week now, it's my first DSLR and due to the bad weather I have been stuck around the house trying (and failing) to find anything remotely exciting to photograph. Well today the weather forecast said there will be no rain so I thought it may be the ideal opportunity to get my new toy out and about.

Although the rain held off, the sky was in general quite overcast, and although this was less than ideal, I still had the opportunity to play with some composition and DOF. The linked photos have had some processing in Lightroom, mainly cropping and exposure. Any feedback would be great, I am new to all this so your comments will be invaluable.
