Found this little fellow today, now my first thought it was Elephant Hawk Moth caterpillar (as my dad kills them for a living). But i used to find these as a boy but every rare perhaps only two ever, but the Hawk Moth caterpillar has a spur or small hook on its rear and are usually brown with a larger head. I cannot find anything with the two prongs at the back.

So who can give Frank a species.

It's a McDonalds gherkin from a big mac. Like Edrof said, eat it.

Also stop wearing shorts, it's not clever and you will never win a Nobel Prize that way.

Looks like a epistula arca faex moth larva

Common in southern Europe, they're harmless, but an unwelcome visitor in your home due to a pretty funky smell during their pupa stage.

Check out the brains on bugs ! Tell me more about this funky smell. If you had to compare it to a body part, which part would that be ?

That caterpillar looks like it ate through 1 apple, 2 pears, 3 plums, 4 strawberries, 5 oranges and a bunch of other stuff. It's a big, fat Queen Wasp Caterpillar :)

You know when you're wiping your arse and your finger goes through the paper, and for some reason you can't help but sniff your finger? That smell.

i'm not one for being cruel to animals/insects but could you please drop a brick on that thing from a height of about 2 metres? just to make sure whatever is due to emerge from that thing has 0 chance of ever crossing my path.

Need something bigger than a brick looking at it :D.
