Where does the trampling happen?

Five seconds into the video, or are you just playing pointless semantics? It's been described as trampling in most of the news coverage so I'm sticking with that description.

It's not as though it makes it acceptable if we describe it with a different word does it?

You have claimed that at least 2 soldiers repeatedly stamped on a child and left the child seriously injured or dead.

Absolute nonsense.

Whatever you want to call it "trampled", "bulldozed", "ploughed", "destroyed", the guard deliberately and forcefully knocked over a vulnerable member of the public which could have resulted in a fatal head injury.

This isn't a battlefield where everyone is to be treated as a potential threat, it's a tourist attraction no justification can be made for it and that is why you are so forcefully trying to attack me by ascribing nefarious motives to me and trying to minimise what happened, you can't come up with a justification.

There only appears to be one guard involved. Is your title just poor grammar or a deliberate attempt to exaggerate what happened?

"Queen's guard" as in a guard belonging to the queen, not multiple guards. Honestly picking at grammar is a fairly pitiful way of trying to distract from the issue. Though yes arguably there are multiple guards acting in concert so it's not a misrepresentation either way you look at it.

Yes, it is nonsense. So why did you write it?

Please quote me saying the child was seriously injured or dead.

I'm starting to think Enegizer may have a grudge against the royals given how often he brings up how bad they are,

Well I admitted that in the opening post. :p

To be fair I don't often post about them, there was the Barbados thread and this one which is front page news.

Ok so no quote of me saying the child was dead, because it was an obvious lie from you.

Still waiting for your thoughts on the actual incident, I'm not going to engage in bickering about what you think is going on in my head.

EDIT - Just for you I have asked for the title to be changed to stop people whining so they can focus on the real issue.

Whenever I've been to London it has been obvious when the guards are coming through, they also don't just march through without announcing themselves. Whenever I've seen someone pushed away/over it has been because they have about the awareness of those people who don't notice an ambulance full lit up and sirens coming when driving or silly people who think they can play chicken with them.

Maybe the parent in this instance had too much on their hands with multiple kids and/or the kid was confused/unaware who knows but I suspect there is more to it than this brief clipped bit. End of the day if you visit a zoo you might want to keep your kids from climbing in the lion enclosure.

No question the parents should have been supervising their kid and visitors shouldn't be antagonising what are stationed military personnel, they get what's coming to them, but this kid appears to be totally innocent and was accidentally in the way. The soldier knowingly endangered a child in a very brain dead fashion, even my horse won't walk into someone.

Oh and lolEnergize, what a nothingburger, you'd have to be a bit of a delicate ********* to be "shocked" by that video.

Not shocked by seeing a child knocked over.

Shocked as in the way non royals are treated as peasants by the institution, if I marched into a child like that I would be taken away in handcuffs. There has to be something wrong in the head for someone to think that is an ok thing to do.

I think that making false accusations for political purposes is a real issue. You made them. You supported them when it was pointed out that they were false. Your only regret about your actions is that you got caught.

I posted a video of the incident, you can't get more transparent than that. You just have a beef with me criticising the royals after the Barbados thread where you went on a bit of a tirade against me, you're a clear fan of the royals so you attribute some ulterior political motive to every post I make about them good grief.

Since you aren't interested in discussing the thread topic I won't be responding to you any further.

Lol what? And this is where you are as silly as Energize with your pathological dislike of one group which leads you to irrationally ascribing all negative traits to them

Energize identifies as a right wing Libertarian, so pretty much the antithesis of a progressive.

Indeed I don't know where "progressive" came from, any discussion with him now after the Barbados thread just goes on bizarre tangents.

Can I just nominate this as the most over-hyped film of the year? I was expecting blood and gore, and all I got was idiot kid taking a tumble, then picking himself up while obviously uninjured. If the same thing had happened with two men walking down the high street and not in uniform this thread would not exist.

That's the thing though, this doesn't happen in the high street because people that bulldoze kids would be arrested for assault.

God forbid if someone with sight or hearing impairment was visiting the royal attractions.
