Im seriously thinking about getting a 360 and xbox live. The thing is my internet gets pings of about 200 when im playing bf2 and iim not sure if that will make for laggy gameplay. How much would this affect gameplay and would i get kicked?

I could sway towards ps3 but 360 has miles better games and more features that i would use.

Great i wont have to worry about that. Will that wireless adaptor be any good? and does it work well with wep?

If i got the premium how much of the 20gb would i use? eg how big are addons demos, is it possible to redownload these addons or back them up?

Thanks in advance i have so may questions.

When I had a second 360, it was "hooked up" using the adapter and it worked fine using WEP.

The HDD only has around 13Gb usable, the rest is reserved for the 360 and for backwards compatability with the original XBox. The demos for "proper" games ranges from a few hundred Mb up to around 1Gb. You can download them, delete them and re-download them as many times as you want. You have to manage what you store on it as there's obviously a limited amount of space.

Let me know when you get online and I'll add you to my friends list.

Will do mparter. Is that messenger thing any good? ie can you see display pictures.

Is the elite version worth the extra money?

Can you redownload purchased stuff?

Are things removed from the store?

1. Not sure, never use it (if you mean the MSN messenger integration). Can send messages to people but it's like texting on a phone. Better chatting. If you have the camera, you can set your gamerpic to be your pic but having never used it, I'm not sure if you can actually send pics or not though.

2. If you want to use HDMIor a black 360 then it may be but I'm happy with my Premium 360. At the end of the day, they all play the same games.

3. Yes

4. Not that I've noticed but they may tidy it up.

My gamertags: sparkymark75

Ive got broadband but the ping doesnt suggest that.

Thanks for your help.I think i will get the premium.

I went into game today to ask about their bundles and i heard a store worker there telling someone theyve had 10 returns this weekend. Ive also read about a falcon, a cooler, newer version, should i wait for this?

Is there a big difference between sd tvs and hd ones while using the 360?

I find the 360 an average experience on an SDtv, on HD however it is a must buy.

Personally there is just too much that you miss on the SDtv, I find I give myself headaches trying to read text in PGR3 and nothing feels quite as polished when i'm on a low res screen.

My recommendation would be to get your 360 and consider a 22" widescreen monitor in the near future to use with it, even if you aren't going to use the monitor for a pc as well, as they can be had for £185 or so now and add immeasurably to the experience.
