Query Nvidia GPU in Linux

I'm looking for a c++ function to get the current temperature of my nvidia card, on Linux.

I've been Googling for hours but getting nowhere.

Likely you'll need to use ioctl(). You need to know the proper IOCTL command code that the nvidia driver exposes for this query.
