Been a long while since i last updated my bios and noticed for my MB that it has several updates and I am wondering if I should simply stay with what i have F6 or must I go with the latest and flash F22b? Everything works on the system as it should other than the ram, which is running slower than normal, but at the time that was the standard problem unless the new bios happens to fix this. So anyway, I have the Ryzen 5 1500x with the mobo GA-AB350M-Gaming 3. So, go for it or skip it (and which one is then needed for the cpu???)?

TY in advance

The updates on early Ryzen did address RAM problems and system stability. With the iminent release of the newer Zen+ chips your board would also need to be updated to use the later chips (in case you get spicy and upgrade). If it was me I'd wait a couple of weeks/month until a mature driver came out for the newer chips and then upgrade.

I am using the F22b - but most of reason for that is support for the 2400g APU.

I also managed to overclock my RAM to 2933 on that bios and I could boot above 3000Mhz despite being on 2800Mhz RAM.

If you are struggling on RAM speed it might be worth a shot. It has been perfectly stable for me and super easy to flash using the BIOS tool through Windows.
