query regarding 4790k and my ram?

Hi guys im going to be getting a 4790k in 2 weeks time when im paid i have a few questions.

1. I already have this ram. G-Skill Trident X PC3-19200 2400mhz 16GB will this be compatible with any z97 mobo I get and is this ram good as I have no idea?
and is 16gb enough ram or should I add more

2. What z97 mobi is cheap and cheefull but also very good
As im not into all the fancy extras just a good board thats cheap

The ram works fine, im using the same stuff, providing your jut using it for general use and gaming 16gb is plenty.

The mobo is more dependant on what your using it for, do you have sli or crossfire, and will you be overclocking? What size is your case, does it need to be micro atx or just standard size.

Just standard atx bro and a single gtx 980
Maybe mild overclocking but tbh wIth its 4gh speed prob not much
