Salutations,
So for my coursework assignments I've had to build 2 networks 1 network requires to be high speed so I've decided to look into ATM the other can just be a regular network so it's just that. I've decided that if the ATM internet connection should fail it will temporarily use the other network until the problem is fixed. So my question is how would I connect these two networks together originally I was thinking of just using the ATM switches in my distribution layer and connecting them to the routers or switches in the other networks distribution layer. I'm not up to scratch on ATM and I'm just doing some research on it but would this be possible or would I need some sort of adapter/device which can interconnect them both.
