Query using existing cabling and sockets in house

Hi

Sorry if this is an idiot question, I'm new to internal networks.

The previous owners of my house moved the master socket into the garage (from the house) so the father could control it. I've got my router plugged into a slave in the living room (back of house) and getting the speeds and stability promised in fact I didn't notice a difference when I did plug it into the master maybe c. 5%. I use BT whole home discs to extend network around house but the signal doesn't reach the garage. Engineering brick of new build I guess. Hence giving router in garage will be problematic.

I want to setup 4k camera system using poe in garage or front of house. I'm trying to avoid laying cable. I just want a single poe injector at front of house or garage and somehow to get it onto the network. Can I use the master socket or the other slave socket or previous master socket that are at the front of the house? I assume as I have router in a slave socket now the wires must be able to handle data? But could I interfer with the existing broadband feed? Can I use the existing wires between sockets?

I can't find this information anywhere on Google. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. This is interesting but frustrating when I can't seem to find the right info.

I'm thinking to test using an rj45 and laptop?

I do have a spare BT wholehome disc but signal will be weak from garage so a couple of 4k signals or a dvr or nvr device signal may be temperamental and packets might drop hence preference is cable although any solutions will be helpful.

Thanks
Marc
