Hey everybody i have the EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLi

As owners or people who have experience with the board its has a ring of cooling for the NB etc around the processor.

For those who have not seen this here is an image.

Now i bought the EK Supreme Acetal block and i noticed this ring slightly gets in the way. Has anyone else got this MB and CPU Block ?

Does it still effectively cool the CPU ?

Solution i think

Ok after some digging i have found out that the massive ring around the processor on the 790i cools the following.

South bridge, North bridge and V-regs.

Has anyone here replaced this with waterblocks or heatsinks, if so any good recommendations ?
