Quest 2 - Black Friday price drop?

Doubt it. Hardly anywhere has it in stock.

Thanks @Cob, Im not sure whether to go for the 64 or 256gb. I dont really keep all my media and games on my other devices so thinking perhaps the £100 could be better spent elsewhere, only catch I guess is if games get larger.

I doubt there will be an official one but you may get a 20% eBay voucher deal. I got one a few weeks back from Argos eBay for £276.

Wish I hadn't activated it however as I only needed to wait a few days longer than I did to get the game.

Saw that deal after it expired, decent discount.

Think Ill just order with slow post and if it is cheaper on Friday Ill cancel and reorder. Dont really want to risk not being able to get hold of one at RRP.

Games are pretty small, currently. Even the new Star Wars game is only 5.7GB (though it's not a huge game in terms of content tbf). It's videos that really hit hard with 64GB of capacity. But those can be rotated easily enough, or just streamed from a PC.

If you're on a budget and you have £400 to spend, you're going to get more enjoyment out of a 64GB Quest and £100 worth of games and accessories. But at the end of the day, more storage isn't something that can be added later. So it's one of those situations where there is no right answer.

Thanks, was thinking that, Virtual Desktop looks amazing and all the stuff I watch is on streaming services. So disk space would only be required for games and a couple apps. I guess most high quality games with large filesize would be link cable games anyway?

I did. IF standalone VR was my only interest I would have paid the extra for 256gb but I am primarily pcvr based and my quest is mainly for exercise stuff and maybe movies if we ever get to travel again
