Hi, when I open Oculus software and then try to use airlink, click on connect all I get is a brief flash of the white with black grid lines 3d screen then all goes black and that's it!

All drivers fully up to date, Quest 2 fully up to date.

Anyone had this issue?

Yep had this a few weeks ago, the reason was really odd - caused by Star Wars VR Pinball that I had bought on Steam. No idea why, but as soon as I play this game it stops Air Link working, so I've got to make sure it is removed from the Oculus Library before I start up Airlink (I'm not even sure why it shows up in the Oculus Library due to being a Steam Game).

The annoying thing is though, I also can't play the game via VD, whilst it will start up, for some reason the controller's won't map.

Every other game I've got works fine on either Air Link or VD, but as above Star Wars VR Pinball causes massive issues with Air Link to the point nothing works at all.

Thanks both, will give these a try. I also own SW Pinball... think this was the last game I played in VR if memory serves me right.

Make sure you remove Star Wars VR Pinball from the Oculus Library and see if this sorts your issue, certainly did for me.

You might have to uninstall it......do you have the Steam Version like I have?

Ok, removing SW Pinball did the trick. Thanks 2004Typer. Why the hell would a game stop things working..?? *scratches head*

Yes, it's in my Steam Library. Removed it from Oculus library.

Since upgrading to Win 11 things have not been the same. Come on M$... sort it out!!!

Good stuff and your welcome, glad I could help! - I was perplexed for weeks until I came across a Reddit post (I think) that suggested the culprit......I'm still confused why a single game can wreck Airlink.

I'm a bit gutted though, did have Star Wars VR Pinball working for a bit initially and was enjoying it, but don't bother with it now.

Don't think there is any blame on MS (did the same with me on W10 and W11), I'd think the Star Wars VR Pinball developer needs to find out why their game causes this, I can only think there is a driver conflict somewhere?

On a non VR related note, had the same issue with Cyberpunk the other day after the massive patch update - some Asus soundcard driver on my system causing Cyberpunk to not start up.....all good once you abort the process in task manager.....does my nut in.....but thank goodness for the internet and the capability to find an answer that may work.

I stupidly succumbed and upgraded to W11 last night, now Device Manager shows the Quest 2 connecting and disconnecting but the Oculus App tells me there is no headset detected. The headset on the other hand asks if I want the PC to be able to access files on it.

Anyone got a pointer as to how to get the app to see the headset?
