I use a 3090on VD wifi 6, I use high settings in streaming setting , I can use godlike, but the ms goes too high for my liking ion default settings for network
Yes 4090. I don't know what the ms is, i haven't looked yet (don't know where to look yet tbh), it plays fine. I'm standing about 5 foot from the router, no wall inbetween. The Q3 is the only device on the 5GHz band.

I found that turning spacewarp to off stopped vd flickering. Cmon, you've been here long enough to know piracy related talk isn't allowed

Just been charing my quest 3 for 2h and it only charged like 30%, quick search online bring this issue for many users. Gonna switch it off and then hopefully it will charge faster.
EDIT: while it is off it is charing much faster now. already at 50% after just like 20 min, strange bug.

What kind of flickering are you getting in VD.? For me it’s sligh brightness flicker.

when in VD, there's a setting to show it (cant remember what its called) i dropped it from godlike because it was in red
with VR you want no stutters at all if possible

My Quest 3 512gb just arrived from Meta via Yodel. As yodel were kind enough to deliver the box with a large dent to one corner along with water damage it gave me an excuse to convince the Mrs that I had to check it now rather than waiting until my bday at Xmas Eve!
Luckily damage only to outer packing, internal all fine. Set up was easy, only tried it quickly to connect to wifi and my old rift s meta account but all seems fine with pixels and connection.
Weirdly i redeemed my Asgards Wrath 2 but it does not show in my library..... game page says I have it tho. Also Meta plus is only offering a 1 month trial not 6! noted online that quite a few seem to be getting the offer updated a few hours later, so have fingers crossed.

Asgards Wrath 2 won't show in your library until it's released, as for the Meta+ 1 month trial i believe that is for everyone as i also have that offer on my 128GB Quest 3.
thanks for the update about Wrath 2. I just wondered about the Meta Plus 6 month sub as I thought it was included with the 512gb version which i bought. Seems a few online are reporting problems, will see if it eventually updates.
My Meta plus 6 month free subscription took about 30 minutes to attach itself to my account if that's any help to you.
If you're packing it away, makes sure to log in to the meta app on your phone and 'get' the two free games every month from the store. If you don't do that then you will lose them.

Yeah, I thought I'd try out the default elastic headstrap but I'm feeling the same way. It's horrific and I can't wear the headset for longer than 30 minutes. When I bought the Quest 2 I orderd the elite strap along with it so never experenced the soft elastic strap! As mentioned I had the Elite Strap with my Quest 2 but, though better than the included soft strap, I never found it particular comfortable. Contemplating just ponying up the money for the elite battery strap as I think the counterweight of the battery would aid comfort though I is very expensive at £120.
What does everyone reckong the best options are? Should I buy :-
1) The Meta Elite Strap?
2) The Meta Elite Battery Strap?
3) A third party strap?
Would appreciate hearing the thoughts of anyone who's tried the above?

I got my Quest 3 on the 10th but only managed to open it today. All the reports of dead pixels etc had me a bit worried but after 10 mins or so I can't see anything untowards thankfully! Will give it a proper play later, still charging and downloading my apps.
Quick question, what are the best options for prescription lenses, the Meta Zenni ones or is there a 3rd party alternative that has good feedback?

If you can't wait for a 3rd party strap then the Elite is your only option right now, i personally just jerry riggerd my BOBOVR M2 Pro head strap onto the Quest 3.
Third party straps/battery straps are way more comfortable and provide more support than the meta ones.
Yeah, I'll maybe just wait as ideally I'd prefer one of the halo style bands rather than an over the head strap. That's what bothers me as the Meta ones really don't look very impressive for the price of them. Plus my experience of the Quest 2 Elite Strap is putting me off the idea of buying the regular Elite Strap .

No issues with my Zenni lenses. Though they were a bit fiddly and temperamental to clip on but seem fine once in place.
Have VR Optician lenses on my Quest 2 and PSVR 2 which were good. I'd probably have bought VROptician lenses again but the Zenni's were the only option at launch.
