What's people's preferences, I've heard the quests lenses are a lot better ?

I have a psvr2 and I find it hard to hit the sweet spot and looking to buy a quest 3, am I being daft ?

Depends. Are you looking to play purely PCVR? Or do think you will be using the Quest 3 standalone as well?

Are you even using the PSVR 2 connected to a PC?
I did love my quest 2 for leadless play I have also have WiFi 6 router so could use my pc also.

But games like les Milles or pistol whip seem no diffraction on ps5.

I wanted to but I restricted in my loft space where my pc is and rally sim but I ran a fiber optic DP cable to my front where I normally play VR but for some reason it wouldn't worth with the psvr2 adapter

The lenses on the q3 are amazing, sweetspot almost doesn't exist because it's all clear.
This seems a big lure and I absolutely hate seeing the rings, even though the psvr2 head set quality is amazing, it spoils it for me

The only things to really recommend the PSVR2 over the Quest 3 are the OLED display, and the wired display port connection.

The features like eye tracking, headset haptics and adaptive triggers aren't usable on PC, and only usable (currently) with the relatively small PSVR2 library.

The Quest 3 is better in almost every other respect, especially the lenses, but also the controllers, and being wireless. Plus you have a huge library of both native games and PCVR with some decent exclusives.
Very true l, I really want to play half life Aylx but want a good experience. If that makes sense as I feel, even as mature as vr is. It's still in its beginning.

there must be a variation in quality in PSVR2 lenses. I just plonk mine on my face and it's pretty much clear all over. A little moving around to get shut of some red/blue fringing from chromatic aberration and that's all.
Mine steam up and move around a lot compared to my quest2 I had a felt so for active games it feels a bit of a fail.

There's only 1 thing about psvr2 I'd like and that is GT7. Not going to happen on PCVR though, tbh I've stored my steering wheel/pedals/shifter away and will very likely sell my 4090 soon (as soon as I get a low end gpu to replace it with), just not into PCVR anymore, I'm finding standalone Q3 gaming is enough for me now.
Gt7 on psvr2 and the g29 set up is brilliant tbf best vr experience I've had so far

The Quest 3 is better than the Quest 2. The pancake lenses just make everything so clear. The price has come down on the Quest 3 as well.

However, I would suggest you try out a Quest 3 first and see if the display annoys you.

But, If you afford the Quest 3, I think it's a great idea to have both. You could use the Quest 3 for all the Meta exclusives and standalone gaming. And use the PSVR 2 for all the PC Sims that you can play close to your PC.
I think I will just end up buying with at this rate as they seem to tick very different boxes even thought they are technically the same

Do you have it fitted correctly because up until I got the ps adapter last week I wasn't, although I could get in the sweet spot.

The instructions on setting it up on pc are a lot better than is/was (not sure if its changed) ps5 when I set it up. The back of it needs to go as far down the back of the head as possible while lenses line up with your eyes. I had the back bit too high up and while I could go a few hours fine it wasn't the most comfortable but it is much better now.
Yeah just when doing something that isn't sat still it's goes off center quite quick I have found. Maybe my head shape.

I know it's annoying as I have kind of the same problem with Airpods, they fit horribly and I can get them to stay in but any movement they fall out.

Maybe look at some of the strap/headband attachments they may be able to help you.
Yeah I found them with my bud pros ended up buying full over ears
