Quest as monitor via HDMI cable. It doesn't require any software on PC. Works even in BIOS!

but Quest he side loaded an app.
i see good potential as a repalcement for AR glasses given the next mixed reality mode update in quest 3.

Yeah, he goes into even more detail about the APKs and other software in the comments. Sidequest and the Android SDK Platform-Tools are easy enough to use to get APK files onto the headset.
