Question about 7000 series and HDR

Hi all.

I know that the Nvidia 7000 series cards can not do hdr + AA in Oblivion, but is that likely to be the case with future games?

Particularly I am thinking of crysis. Are the 7000 series cards likely to be able to do AA in conjuntion with whatever lighting technique is used or is this likely to be a problem with this game too?

Short Answer: No.

Long Answer: No, because they don't have the right hardware. I'm not sure but the 7 series can not do FP32 HDR with AA (the one found in oblivion) but can do FP16 HDR with AA (as found in HL2 EP1).

So unless crysis has an option for using FP16 HDR which I seriously doubt, theres no way you're going to be able to get HDR +AA working unless you buy a 8800 or a x1900.
