Hi,

Building a pc with a Antec p100 case. Which is this one:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-214-AN&groupid=2362&catid=160

Its going to have a tri-x 290 and 4670k

It comes with two fans. Front intake and a rear exhaust. It also has space for one more 120/140mm fan at the front and space for two 120/140mm at the top of the case.

My question is, what would be better;

Adding two additional fans at the top, so one intake at front, one exhaust at the back and two exhausts at top

or

having two fans at the front as intakes, the standard rear exhaust and one top mounted exhaust.

I'm also unsure of the speed of the fans needed. I don't want it being super loud, but likewise I want to keep temps in check. Ambient temps in the summer get near enough 27-30 degrees at times during summer (Croatia!).

I'm thinking of getting something like two 120mm, 1200 rpm, 68.4 CFM, 24 db (supposedly) scythe slip streams.

Any input would be great, thanks.

ideally you want same fans all round, 3 in and 3 out will me fine, i rather more fans bringing in air then taking out as this limits the amount of dust that can come in to the case where there are no dust filters

I have an Antec P182. Using a Corsair H80i I changed to a positive air pressure. 2 intake (1 is the double sandwich fans for the H80i drawing air in) and 1 exhaust at the top.
I`ve noticed a massive difference. Dust covers on the intakes. I noticed when I had a negative pressure dust got sucked in from all little crevasses and was a pain.
If your water cooling I would go positive but don't know how effective it is with a massive air cooler.
