I am still doing research on the parts I will need to get for my wayercooling project and I now realise that I ma going to need some 45° angled fittings for one of the rads.

I looked at these ones as I would need black ones to match the rest of the fittings I think I will be using. Apologies if this question is simplistic bordering on ignorant but I am not sure how these work...........

is it a case of the threaded (male end I guess) end attaches to the rad and then you screw a standard compression fitting into the the other end and attach the tubing to this ? or is it a combine compression angled fitting ?

Male thread into component (block, radiator, top etc...) then screw your desired compression or barb into the female end.

You do get some rotary angle fittings that have a compression/barb as part of it, but for the most part people tend to use the empty thread fittings :)
