Hey all
I recently tried shooting in RAW and selected an aspect ratio of 16:9 on my camera. The thing is with this setting, the pictures are still shot the default aspect ratio of 4:3 (not a problem) and the aspect ratio info is just written to the raw file so when it opens in photoshop it is automatically cropped but the full information is sill there. Now my question is that is there a way to recover the 'full' 4:3 image in photoshop/camera raw? When I open the raw files using the bundled Olympus Viewer software, it always shows the full image with a border on the image the shape of the aspect ratio. Hope it makes sense.
