question about ati tool?

when you click on find max core and then find max mem , does the program keep going up and up all the time , or when it finds max does it just stop there and allow you to set the core and mem at that speed ?
reason i ask is a tries it with my pci ati 9250 card lol , and it went up till monitor displayed , output signal out of range!

Dunno, but it's wise to set a max figure for both anyway. Saves any trouble.

Don't use it it DOES NOT WORK ON X1K series card. And I beleive that a 9250 are locked?

Depends on the version.

0.25 Beta 14 is reported to work with them.
