How much hard disk space does Avast's Virus Recovery Database take? It says it keeps information on the last three version's of each file, and there's no option to select which files it should track (not in the free edition at least). On my combined 500GB HDDs, at about 70% full, wouldn't this take oodles of valuable space away?
I must say, although its featureset is impressive, I'm finding Avast! to be too much of a hog of system resources for me to be able to say I prefer it over AVG. It's nowhere near as slow as Norton or Kaspersky, of course, but I can definitely feel the slowdown compared to AVG.
