Hi,

I was considering building a bitfenix prodigy setup without any accessories for under GBP 1000. While browsing thought he premade once of OCuK I noticed that the clock speeds for their I5's are lower than that of their premade overclocked bundles. Is there a reason for that?

Also is it worth building a Prodigy based system if im never really going to take it for lan? I'm building one just because it looks like clean neat and small but I don't want to pay too much of a price premium for it. Would rather build a fast system that will last me a long time.

Would appreciate your suggestions for possible builds that I can use for a Prodigy based system and a regular one.

Regards,
Uzair

Also just wanted to add that if I want to future proof my system with possible Crossfire upgrades in the future I guess a Prodigy is completely out of the question?! Could anyone recommend a case that looks "neat" - not into all the cases with fancy lighting.

What is the reason for the Bitfenix Prodigy setups featuring the i5 3570k not having the same overclock speeds as a regular desktop setup. I'm talking about the pre-made ones from OCUK.

I'm really new to this so I doubt ill be able to customize let alone set up the parts by myself :D
