Question about boot drive partitions

So I'm using a third party tool (Partition Wizard IIRC) to create a second partition on my boot drive (as 2tb is too big, just for windows, and the built in disk manager will only let me give Windows no less than 900gb lol... probably due to the placement of hidden system files etc.

Anyways my question is when I format the boot drive for a reinstall of Windows will it also delete the partition on the same NVME? I know it won't delete the other physical drives unless I ask it to do so.

Basically I want my 2tb Nvme Boot to be 250gb Windows, 1.75tb media. I just don't want to lose what I put on the secondary partition every time I have a fresh install of Windows.

It shouldn't do as you have partioned m2 drive but you will know when you install windows and get to select install destination, there should be 2 options with different sizes.
