I currently have 2 stanton tts and 2 numark axis 9 cd decks,

what are the best cdjs for the £700 - £800 mark?

the ones im looking at are the classis pioneer cdj 200s at £369 each from the rainforest place but im sure your paying a hugh premium for the pioneer brand so is there anything better spec/quality wise for my cash, looking to order over the weekend.

With the advent of final scratch/serato etc I was under the impression that cd decks were as dead as old shoes?. For me they are!.

ok so as iv e been out of the loop for 3yrs, thanks to you guys im now looking at the usb / laptop setups as this would suit me for space anyway.

The ones that catch my eye are the Pioneer Ddj T1s, am i correct in saying that if i buy this and connect my laptop to it, im fully up and ready to go as it comes with software which i will install on the laptop?

Obviously i alrdy have studio monitors, cables etc...

Same! I was considering getting CDJs but ended up just sticking with my 1210s, using Traktor and a controller too! :)

Buy two used technics and a used serato box , spend the savings on music . A pioneer controller would also do a good job

Not much point in cd decks at the moment IMO , especially close to ten year old ones.

Whoops , good choice

I'm selling two 1210's and two denon dns 3500 cdjs if you're interested

Edit: I should pay more attention when reading threads on my phone late at night!
