Hi,

In the process of changing tv in the living room.

I have monitor audio floor standers and center speakers.

The new TV will sit on top of the TV unit (presently on wall)

Center speaker will therefore be a issue

My TV unit, has 4 holes/ shelving on it and in centre 2 drawers.

Will the centre speaker be ok on one of the shelves?

It will be a little bit off side to the TV, but of course you cannot combat balance on a centre speaker.

Will this be OK or is it going to cause a issue

Thanks

My old Q Acoustics centre speaker was on a shelf under the TV. I angled it up a little using two tealights placed upside down at the front corners of the speaker which made it look like it had small metal feet.

Worked no problem.

AVR room correction will make it bearable. Other options are buying a unit with a cantilever stand attached (BDI etc), or buying a large tv stand and placing it behind the current unit.
