Before you read this, don't expect cutting edge technology.. ;)

I've currently got an Athlon 64 3200+, K8T Neo with a Gig of Ram on Vista 64bit edition with a 9800 pro and all the latest catalyst drivers.

As a final upgrade on this trusty beast I'm installing a 7600GT to give me a bit more oompf on some games.

I'm just wondering what would be the best procedure for installing the new card?

Should I simply use Driver Sweeper to remove the old ATI drivers, turn off the machine and then replace the 9800Pro with the 7600GT? Then reboot and install the Nvidia drivers from the desktop?

It's probably really simple but I wouldn't like to leave any ATI software on my machine. :)

Cheers

Cheers for that.

Sounds like a plan and straightforward enough. I'll give DriverCleaner pro a look.
