i think ill pop em out :) i tried a air duster but they are thick with dirt between the keys and its quite disgusting :p

how long would i need to let it dry after that?

A week in the airing cupboard, even if you think it's dry, just leave it in there.

ps I take no responsibility in your own action :p mine was already covered in sticky coffee, giving it a bath of clean water is not exactly going to make the situation worse.

lol :)
well i only have one so i couldnt wait that long anyway ;)
i just tried removing one of the keys with a knife and it popped right off and on again :D its easier than i thought so problem solved, thanks for all the replies

just finished cleaning it now ;) ill get another one in a couple of years because this one is still working perfectly

im disgusted at the amount of crap that was under the keys :o

Back in the days of windows 3.1 my missus soaked her crucial MSc work floppy disc in milk. She discovered it a few days later, after the penicillin had started to grow.
I split the floppy case open with a razor blade (gillette, NOT a mach three), extracted the floppy bit, soaked it in warm water, ran the cold tap over it a few times, then dabbed dry on kitchen roll. Same with the stuff in the case. Over night in airing cupboard then reassembled and sellotaped. It worked fine and she got a distinction for her MSc.
Come to think of it I don't recall getting much thanks let alone a blowjob!

I got fed up cleaning my keyboards over the years so my solution was to simply buy a black one.

Can't see the dirt on it ;)

The last three I took apart and cleaned never worked after I put them back together again so now I just dont ....... ;)
