question about controllers for NFS 15

right i signed up to Origin Access yesterday and i noticed NFS Deluxe was on the mix of free games so big result .

however its not giving me the experience i want, didnt think it would run, but it does on highest settings, be it with very tiny stutter, however the controls so screwed up i cant play properly .


first my speedlink controller doesnt work with the game, but my 'NORI' brand wheel does just sadly not in the config i want which means i cant manual gear, but after many frustrating attempts i got my pedals to actually act as brake and accelerator, just certain buttons i map doesnt seem to save like i thought or not least to what i want them to do.



okay to rephrase the question a bit better, has anyone or does anyone use a controller/wheel that isnt from the list in the settings without issue?

i have 360 software on my computer as i was going to use my pad ages ago, but having wireless i dont have the receiver you need and not seen a wired one cheap enough to bother.

im not familiar with mapping software as ive never had to, mean i will need a xb1 controller for windows 10 eventually, so can use that for games also, but obviously that doesnt help the wheel situation which i would actually like to use now ive used it somewhat already as the wheel does respond well, its just the config.


how will those tools work with my wheel as its not your every day branded one?

quick update:

the above link didnt work, i downloaded both 32bit & 64bit versions and both failed trying to install(error came up moment i double clicked the application), i didnt have a controller connected, so not sure if im meant to as i click?
