Question about downsizing.

-8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3
-Z77-D3H
-Radeon HD 7870

Really dislike have a huge case to be honest.
And I don't think I'll ever watercool, too much money when fans do well anyway.
So I wanted to just have a smaller form factor.

If I buy a new Mobo, Micro ATX maybe.
That support my CPU & GPU.
Would there be any reason for problems? And would windows still work?

Can't see why not. Will run slightly hotter than usual for obvious reasons, but get a good airflow case and all should be fine IMO (from what I can imagine).

if you get a MATX or a smaller motherboard to fit the case you should be fine as long as it supports the rest of your system.

are you using stock fan? as this maybe a issue getting it in to a smaller case
