Question about DS3P?

Hi all,

I am considering buying a new rig in the new future, and until now had my eyes set on the P5B Deluxe. However after looking through this forum, I see most recommendations going to the DS3P.

Now the features I liked on the P5B were the better than standard audio, the 8-phase power design, the look of it, and the great overclocking abilities.

My question is, will the DS3P offer me all the features and overclock ability of a P5B for a lower price?

Many thanks,
gamer

Each board, even the same will have their limit which you can't really assess before getting your hands on the board. The DS3P AFAIK only has a 6 phase VRM so it can't offer all the features of the P5B Dlx, Asus's equivalent cut down variant is the P5B Plus by the way.

I went for the DS3P myself as I am a bit of tight arse and couldn't really warrant spending around 40 squids more on a mobo as from what I'd read the DS3P will do the job I'm after.
