Question about Dual Channels

I just need to know where to place my dual channel memory in my board. Theres 4 dimms.

red yellow ---- red yellow

i presume it does matter as they are coloured but i don't have the instruction manual.

Both in red or both in yellow.

What board is it? Most use the same coloured slots to denote where you should put your RAM for dual channel, but not all mobo makers stick to this.

Red and yellow sounds like the Gigabyte DSx ranges colour co-ordinated scheme ( )

In which case it would be both sticks in the same coloured slots.
