Question about dust and case position

I currently have my case on my desk, Takes quite abit of room. It was good with old case as usb/headphone ports were on bottom, New situation with my CM-690 II is there on the top :/ My floor is carpeted but i have a piece of desk which the case would sit on perfectly to sit underneath my desk.

Would dust intake be any different? Considering the PSU air intake is from the bottom, Front air intake and 2 roof/1 rear exhaust

I know it doesn't hurt to clean it and i do every few months :')

if u put it on a hard surface on the floor it shouldnt be any different i wouldnt think. prehaps just hoover the carpet more often around it

Ill just clean up well and clean all dust filters first
