Is there any way to find out what time my PC restarted itself?

I wanted to leave something downloading overnight, but alas when I woke up and turned on the monitor I was presented with the Windows 7 log on screen. I doesn't really matter, I'm just curious to see how when the download was halted.

You should find entries relating to various services stopping and started, but you can always run a 'net stats server' from the command prompt.

This will tell you how long the machine has been up for.

systeminfo in the cmd line?

System Uptime somewhere near the top

go to cmd, type "net statistics srv"

never it is the same command as the one above.
