Question about Fan controllers.

n00b question but how exactly do they work? I've never used a fan controller and want to try one out in a case with 4 Fans in. Do you just connect the fans up to the controller and the controller to the PSU or what?

Yes, exactly. Then you can adjust the fan speeds using the knobs on the front! :rolleyes:

I have one of the Zalman FSC which you connect to the psu molex and plug the 3 pin fans into the back. Adjust the fan speed which suits your need at the time.

Some controllers have sensors which can automatically adjust the fan speeds.
