Question about G-sync on LG C9 TV

Hey!

Does gsync actually work now on this TV? Or do we need to wait for LG's C9 driver (04.70.12) that is currently available in US? For me on driver 04.70.05 g-sync is not working as it should.

We need 04.70.12 from what I can tell. I found the driver from the US site, not sure if it will brick the TV by installing it though?

It was working on 04.70.05 with the last driver but with the latest driver it's selectable but I get tearing in game again. hmm..... Any way to turn the tv into an American one by flashing their apps to the tv instead?

You can download the american firmware update from here - https://www.lg.com/ca_en/support/support-product/lg-OLED65C9PUA. No idea if it'll work on the UK sets though.

I still get tearing without vsync so 100% sure it isn't working properly yet. Looking at youtube it seems you need the newer firmware for it to work properly.

Gsync works in 04.70.05 firmware just need to enable it from the Nvidia control panel then turn on instance game response on the TV.

Can confirm this works great on the B9, very nice indeed. Now they just need to hurry up with HDMI 2.1 GPUs.
