( just a copy and paste I've changed some GPU )

But question is, I do Gaming aswell as HD video editing and encoding, so if this build would allow it is it best I ring them up and ask for 16 GB of RAM ?

Thanks!

you dont need extra ram in that build if your gonna change anything drop the sli gpu cards and get a single 7970 will run everything at ultra as high resolutions also its cheaper. if you just wanna spend money for the sake of it crossfire the 7970. 16gb ram is the max w7 64 will use but ive never seen it use anywhere near 8 even when heavy encoding other people will argue otherwise but i personally think 6gb is more then enough but meh its only 42quid atm for another 8gb and since you dont seem to be short of a penny why not.

One thing i would advise is to seriosuly cosider getting a solid state drive.

If your doing HD video editing and encoding, I wouldn't hesitate in adding another 8gb of memory.
It's a real benefit, as I have found out with Photoshop, much more responsive & working with large files is a pleasure now, with no delays.

With memory still cheap at the moment, I have upgraded memory to 16gb for each of my four pc's.
