I been reading up on various threads on here about input lag and the effect it can have, question i have is do HD LCD TV's suffer it aswell?

I played the xbox 360 round my mates house and i never noticed any input lag or such, he's got a big 42" sony LCD, is this something that only afflicts PC monitors?

Or do they both suffer this lag and it makes no diff if you play your PC or Xbox on a LCD HD TV or 24" WS monitor?

Yes, HDTVs suffer from it too, although I'm sure it varies a lot from screen to screen. I find playing Wipeout Fusion PS2 on my LG 32LC2D nearly impossible, but if I connect my PS2 up to an old CRT TV we have here, suddenly I'm really good at it again. Most games don't need split second reactions though.

it really only effects FPS games or fat paced games, wow etc u wont notice, where every 20ms counts is where u can see it, input lag can also come from mice, graphics cards etc etc

Well i play a variety of games, RTS, FPS, say for example on battlefield 2 am i going to turn round and see someone and be dead before i even see there muzle flash? or if we both spot each other at the same time, by the time i have him in my crosshair, he'l have pumped me full of lead?
