Question about memory timings

Hi,

New to overclocking these days (used to do a lot of it back in the early 90's :) ) but thought I'd give it go.

The system I've experimented with is a Core2Duo E6700 on a Gigabyte 965p DS3 mobo with 4GB (2x2GB) of GSkill DDR2 PC2-6400C4 (CL4-4-4-12, 2.0v - 2.1v).

After reading these forums all I did was :

disabled C1E and E1ST
CPU Clock Ratio - 9x
CPU HOst Freq. - 333
PCIe freq. - 100
SPD - 2.5 -> mem. freq. 833 (4:5)
DDR2 overvolt - +0.3 (MB uses 1.8v as default, my mem needs 2.1v)
FSB overvolt - +0.05v (just to be on safe side :) )

Everything works lovely with CPU at 3Ghz, the only oddity is with the memory. The timings seem to be off.

I'm not very good with memory and I confess I have to read up what all the timings mean every time I come to do anything with it! But can anyone tell me based on what the timings should be (see above) if the timings I now have are good or bad? I'm getting :

5-6-6-17-2T

That's according to CPU-Z. If bad, and I think there are (right?), what have I done wrong?

Thanks for your time.

Bob.

Wow, it was that easy! Don't those hidden settings make life a joy?

Thanks Cob. I can't believe how straightforward it was to overclock the system. I really hope my new arrival tomorrow (Q6600 + Abit IP35 Pro) does just as well :).
