question about mobile sempron laptops chaps!

Yo my bro just bought a second hand laptop for mucho cheapness from his work, its a 754 90nm mobile sempron 2600 (georgetown). It has a mitac motherboard right, my question is, can i slap a mobile 64bit processor in there and do you get socket 754 turion processors? What would you recomend, i wanna upgrade the cpu!

Should be able to put in a turion without any problem, provided theres no BIOS issues...

if it takes 90nm semprons, it should support 90nm Turions and 90nm Newark Mobile A64 3700/4000's alright. Stick with turions though, because the laptop may not be able to take the power output of 3700's and 4000's
