Ok a quick question about Access. Its been many years since I last used it and have recalled the basics (tables, relationships, forms, etc) but theres one thing that eludes me!
Basically the purpose of the DB is to keep it on dropbox and let people from multiple locations access it. This is all fine so far. I'm sure most of you can see where this is going... When more then one person access it at the same time it creates the second file with their username because it cant save when its in use. If this was over a LAN it would give a write error. Now I'm sure I've seen setups before using access where multiple people could add to the database in real time at the same time, with up to date unique identifiers etc. how do I go about setting this up?
