last week i got the rrod on my 360 - i was 18 months old so it didnt surprise me - just annoyed me...
so i called MicroAsiaSoft and spoke to a very difficult to understand person about my problem. he took the serial from my console and said that MS would email me a delivery slip to return the console for repairs
3 days later and no slip

i ask my friend who works for a high street video game shop if they would take my console in
they managed to get me a new console [falcon] and powerbrick as they send 5 or more faulty machines back to ms a week so the manager agreed to it.
my question is - if microsoft have my serial from my old console, will they be funny if my new 360 breaks and i call them again with a different serial?
i know there is a much slimmer chance of this happening with a falcon - i just didnt want them to refuse my warranty because i was sick of waiting for their emails
