Question about nLite & Maxtor low level format

Hi,

Time for a OS reinstall!

I'm low level formatting my drive at the moment. Nice & clean & removes any bad sectors or whatever if there are any.

First question: how long will that take to do a 200GB hard drive? At the time of format there was 131GB free and my spec is: 3.0GHZ, Corsair XMS3200 Pro DDR 512MB x 2, ATI 9800 pro (not that that matters), Asus p5p800-se. Any ideas of ETA on how long the low level format will take?

nLite question:
If I was to make a nLite setup (unattended) but for example not touch anything else at all would it just leave it normal like Windows usually sets it up? Or does nLite apply some behind the scenes stuff?

All I really want to do with nLite is make it unattended & maybe apply a few tweaks, but nothing much at all. So was just wondering if it'll leave whatever I don't change the same as Windows default?

You can choose to tweak your Windows setup using Nlite, but it won't change anything if you don't tell it to.

Ok,cool. Might go for a nLite setup then.

Also, was a Full low level format meant to take only about 1 and a half hours? Seemed a bit quick to me although I am sure I clicked on full low level format.
